road construction

so now that they have opened that new road, why is there still road work signs and a reduced speed limit on 52?

The road signs are always the last thing to come down. It's just not a high priority with the construction company.

wasn't the construction actually done by hillsboro? is this stretch of road now 35mph forever? if anyone got a ticket I think they have a good case.....

I worked for a road building company once and we rented the signs. Once the job was over, it was up to the sign company to come and take them down. Not sure if that's the case here or not.
